Properties and benefits of Pea Protein Eco Vanilla
Vanilla flavor organic pea protein is an excellent source of easily digestible vegan dietary protein, suitable for practically any type of consumer as it can be ingested by people with allergies or intolerances to wheat, milk, eggs and soy. Due to its respectful and ecological manufacturing process, it does not contain chemicals or any type of artificial additives.
Vanilla flavor organic pea protein contains an amino acid profile that makes it especially beneficial for people with an active lifestyle. It is rich in the amino acids lysine and arginine. The essential amino acid lysine is a precursor to carnitine, which is the molecule responsible for converting fatty acids into energy and helping to lower cholesterol levels. It is also known that lysine helps absorb calcium and plays an important role in the formation of collagen, a protein that forms skin, cartilage, tendons and bones, as well as in the proper function of the immune system. Lysine deficiency is rare in a balanced Mediterranean diet, but can occur in unbalanced vegan diets or in elite athletes. The high concentration of the amino acid arginine in this protein is one of the reasons why it is demonstrably effective for building muscle.
Organic vanilla-flavored pea protein is a great source of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs): leucine, isoleucine and valine, which are primarily absorbed and metabolized at the muscle level. They are of great interest to athletes of all levels and to people looking to maintain or increase their levels of muscle mass.
Our organic pea protein naturally contains a high level of iron, a precious mineral for the body due to its important functions. Iron is necessary for the transport of oxygen and the regulation of cell growth and differentiation, among many other activities. Certain phenolic compounds are also found in its composition, with a range of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Organic vanilla-flavored pea protein has been shown to be able to maintain a feeling of satiety for prolonged periods of time, thanks to its ability to lower levels of ghrelin, the hunger hormone. Pea protein produces peptides that delay stomach emptying and ghrelin secretion.
