Description

Liposomal D3 liquid food supplement with sweetener and apricot flavour.

How to take Liposomal D3?

1 x 2 ml directly in the mouth or in a glass of water or juice, or as recommended by the health professional.

Precautions

Orally, vitamin D3 is well tolerated. Excessive doses can cause vitamin D toxicity with symptoms of hypercalcaemia that can cause vomiting, nausea, weakness, and frequent urination. Toxicity generally occurs at levels above 100 -150 ng/mL.

Not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

Drugs that can affect vitamin D levels.

Carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin increase hepatic metabolism of vitamin D to inactive compounds, which reduces calcium absorption. Patients taking these drugs for 6 months or more may need vitamin D and calcium supplements.

Cholestyramine, colestipol, laxatives can reduce the absorption of vitamin D.

Orlistat decreases the absorption and blood levels of vitamin D.

Corticosteroids can lower blood levels of vitamin D.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry and cool place.

Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within two months.

Shake before using.

Do not mix with hot drinks

It is recommended to take on an empty stomach for optimal absorption, if taken with food better before meals.

Composition of Liposomal D3

For 2 ml: Vit.D3 (cholecalciferol) 50 mcg / 2000 IU.

Other Ingredients: Water; sweetener: xylitol; emulsifier: lecithin (sunflower); humectant: glycerol; alcohol (<1.5%); preservative: potassium sorbate; vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol); aroma: apricot; antioxidant: vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol).
