Properties and benefits of Hypericum Extract (XXI Formula)

This is an antidepressant (increases levels of serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine), mild sedative, antispasmodic, bile stimulant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and healing. Useful for mild depression, anxiety. Gastrointestinal spasms, dyspepsia due to liver malfunction. Bronchitis, asthma. Urine incontinence. In external use to heal wounds.

How to take Hypericum Extract (XXI Formula)?

It is recommended for adults to take 2 or 3 times a day diluted with a little water.

Precautions

Shake before use. Squeeze the dropper and wait a few seconds. Avoid the direct action of the sun on the skin while drinking. People who are drinking St. John's wort should avoid foods that contain tyramine (cheese, beer, wine, salted and pickled herring, bananas, beans, grapes, yogurt, soy sauce, caviar, liver and very raw meats, yeast, etc. ) and drugs like L-dopa (antiparkinsonian) and 5-hydroxytryptophan, because these substances can interact negatively (cause hypertension and headaches) with MAO inhibitors (MAOIs are drugs used as antidepressants).
