Description

The Boldo de Soria Natural is a preparation for infusion or decoction based on boldo leaves from clean crops that favors digestive care and liver function.

Properties and benefits of Boldo

It contains around 20 alkaloids, derived from aporphine. The main one, boldina, exists in a percentage close to 30% of the total. Other alkaloids (reticulin, isochoridine, sparteine, etc.). It contains essence rich in cineole, p-cymene, eucalyptol and ascaridol.

It also contains flavonoids (pneumósido and boldósido), mineral materials, organic acids, carbohydrates and lipids. Boldo is choleretic (stimulates the synthesis of bile in the liver), cholagogue (favors the emptying of the gallbladder), digestive stimulant, diuretic and sedative of the nervous system.

It is indicated in disorders of the gallbladder and liver, gallstones, slow digestions, flatulence, typical insomnia of liver patients, etc.

How to take Boldo?

It is recommended to take an infusion: use 1 teaspoon of plant per cup. Add boiling water, let stand 5-10 minutes and filter. In decoction: Pour the plant into boiling water, boil for 2-5 minutes, let it rest for 5-10 minutes and filter, in the proportion of 1 teaspoon per cup.

Composition of Boldo

Boldo Powder (Peumus baldus L., leaves), Dicalcium diphosphate stabilizer, Boldo dry extract (Peumus boldus L., leaves), Stabilizer: silicified microcrystalline cellulose (microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide), Anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salt of fatty acids, Stabilizer: cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose.

Boldo Powder (1032 mg), Boldo Dry Extract (216 mg), Boldina (1.56 mg).
