Description

Micotherapy U-CARE by AVD Reform is a proprietary blend based on concentrated hydroalcoholic extracts of 5 mushrooms traditionally considered "medicinal": Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), Maitake (Grifola frondosa), Agaricus blazei, Cordyceps sinensis, Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), with a complete synergistic action that favors the immune system.

The synergy of beta-glucans obtained from different species of fungi allows a more complete action on the immune system.

Properties and benefits of Mycotherapy U-CARE

This specially designed formula contains polysaccharides (β-glucans β 1,3 - β 1,6) with high immunomodulatory activity, triterpenes, ergothioneine, ergosterols and many other biologically active compounds to support the health of the organism.

Each extract of the medicinal mushrooms contained in U-CARE has been shown to have immunomodulatory activity, strengthen the microbiota, reduce swelling and improve antioxidant protection, factors that together can improve the quality of life of cancer patients.

Properties of its components and physiological action

• Immune support : The soluble β1,3-β1,6 β-glucans present in U-CARE, thanks to their triple helix tertiary structure and high conformational heterogeneity, enhance the immune system. The β-glucan-receptor link determines the activation of specific intracellular signal cascades associated with immune function. For this reason, to obtain an important immunomodulation, it becomes useful to combine different β-glucans obtained from various species of fungi.
• Strengthening intestinal microbiota: Alterations in the microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract may be associated with chronic conditions, may interfere with oncological evolution and alter therapeutic response
• Medicinal mushrooms have a high prebiotic action. Its action on the microbiota is attributable to β-glucans, aminoglycans, trehalose and polyphenols. The β-glucans then perform a bifidogenic activity (also from B.infantis), increasing the robustness and biodiversity of the microbiota, production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), improving mucosal integrity, nutrient absorption and the response to drugs.
• Synergy with immunotherapy: Some studies with β-glucans and antibodies against PDL-1, an antigen present on tumor cells with an immunosuppressive action on the adaptive immune system, have shown the ability of β-glucans to improve the efficacy of immunotherapy, sensitizing the target cell and improving its recognition by T lymphocytes through the improvement of the tumor microenvironment.
• Modulation of the tumor microenvironment: The β-glucans of the fungi are regulators and act on the tumor microenvironment, reducing swelling and modulating the activity of macrophages, fibroblasts, reducing the production of matrix metalloproteinases (MMP), inhibiting neoangiogenesis, migration and cell invasion.

How to take Mycotherapy U-CARE?

It is recommended to take 2 capsules a day, preferably between meals. Simultaneous intake of vitamin C is recommended.

Mixture of beta-glucans extracted from organic mushrooms: Agaricus blazei, Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Grifola frondosa, Lentinula edodes, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose vegetable capsules.
