Description
Airbiotic's Melatonin AB provides 1.9 mg of melatonin in each capsule, which is a high concentration. It also adds L-tryptophan, magnesium bisglycinate and vitamin B6, all of them synergistic nutrients. Magnesium and vitamin B6 help reduce tiredness and weakness.
Properties and benefits of Melatonin AB
Melatonin is generated by our own body, in the pineal gland, from serotonin. Young adults have the highest levels, although they begin to decrease from the age of 20. Sleeping well is essential to have a good quality of life. Some people find it difficult to fall asleep for various reasons and therefore need extra help.
Melatonin is used to treat this inability to fall asleep and as a regulator of the sleep-wake cycle, for example in cases of jet lag after a trip. This substance helps us to adjust our internal clock.
