Properties and benefits of S-adenosyl-methionine SAMe-400 complex

It is a sulfurous amino acid that is produced mainly in the liver and is not found in food. It can be formed in the body by a combination of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and the amino acid L-methionine.

SAMe plays a role in the transfer of sulfur in the body and is converted, through the methionine cycle, to cysteine, which can be converted back to glutathione or taurine. SAMe also has a role in the formation of creatine, which is important for athletes. The sleep hormone needs SAMe as a methyl donor. As we age, our own ability to create SAMe decreases.

How to take S-adenosyl-methionine SAMe-400 complex?

It is recommended to take 1-3 capsule(s) at least half an hour before a meal.

Precautions

Do not use in bipolar disorder. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of small children.
