Description
5-HTP (short for 5-hydroxytryptophan) is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan, an amino acid found in high-protein foods such as meat and dairy products.
Properties and benefits of 5-HTP
The body manufactures its own 5-HTP from tryptophan which, in the brain, is converted into the serotonin neurotransmitter related to various organic functions such as appetite, mood and sleep.

How to take 5-HTP?
Take 1 tablet half an hour before meals or half an hour before going to sleep, no more than 3 times a day.
Start with 1 tablet daily and increase the amount if necessary.
Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily dose.
It is recommended to take 5-HTP for periods of up to 3 months.
Precautions
