Description
The Tomato Seeds to Hang Domingo de Batlle, are of high maturity, precocious, fruits of about 80gr. Gathered in clusters that can be hung. Excellent quality for making tomato bread due to its thin skin and a lot of pulp.
Indication
Tomato is a perennial herbaceous plant, grown as an annual, sensitive to cold. The early varieties (the ones that flower and fruit the fastest) usually reach a length of 1.2 m; the late ones, on the other hand, are almost always larger and reach 2.5 m in length. The fruit is a berry. In wild tomato species the fruit is bilocular, while in cultivated varieties it is bilocular or 30-locular, the most frequent being 5 to 9 locules. The shape of the fruit is variable, generally depressed-globose or oblong. They have numerous small, flattened, yellowish-grayish, hairy seeds, embedded in a gelatinous mass formed by the parenchymal tissue that fills the cavities of the ripe fruit.
Intake mode
Sowing: from February to May in a seedbed, transplant when the plant has 3-4 leaves in a 70 x 40cm frame. Harvest: from 4/5 months.
