Description
Cardamom Fruits de Cook is a rhizome herb, from the same botanical family as ginger. Wild plant, native to the coast of Malabar in India, which can still be found in the wild, it is now cultivated.
Indication
It is its fruit that is consumed, after drying: a pale yellow capsule, drawing on green, (if it is not artificially bleached to hide the drying defects), shelters the seeds which are in fact the aromatic part. The seeds are sold in their capsules because they provide protection.
Ingredients
Cardamom.
