Description
Organic clarified cow butter, from the Ayurveda culture, which has been part of traditional Indian cuisine for thousands of years. No lactose, no cholesterol. Essential in Ayurveda.
Indication
In clarified butter the water in the milk has evaporated and the solids have moved away. Ghee is the same, but with a difference: in its preparation process it is heated for longer, and it achieves a more smoky point and a sweet flavor reminiscent of nuts. This process allows practically all traces of lactose to be eliminated, so it can be consumed by people with intolerance (not allergies) to dairy products.
Ghee is highly valued for its health benefits, it is so versatile that it can be transferred to any kitchen. It is delicious and goes well with almost any dish and even with some drinks. It can be used for frying, cooking, baking or as a spread, instead of butter, margarine or oils such as olive or sunflower. It gives a delicate and delicious flavor to dishes and is a great ally for cooking at high temperatures. It tolerates heat of up to 250ºC without risk of rusting; essential in healthy cooking. It does not need to be kept in the fridge either, but it is advisable to keep it in a place protected from light. Consumed in moderation, Ghee is an extremely interesting food to incorporate into your daily diet. On the other hand, it is great for the skin, for problems such as rashes, eczema, burns and allergies. In addition, it enhances the youth of the skin and provides it with nutrition and softness.
