Description
EcoAndes amaranth flour is derived from the seeds of the amaranth plant. Its popularity has grown because it does not contain gluten, and many people who cannot tolerate it can cook with this type of flour due to its health benefits.
Indication
Amaranth flour is high in protein, fiber and lysine, an essential amino acid. Just 150 grams of amaranth provides 150% of the recommended daily intake of protein for an adult. This cereal also has a high content of phytosterols. For individuals who are sensitive or intolerant to gluten, amaranth is a good flour for cooking, since it does not contain it.
Intake mode
It is recommended for use in cereals, pasta, pancakes, cookies, breads, cookies or other baked goods, and can be combined with other types of flour. If used in bread, the flour needs to be combined with another kind of flour to rise; and for preparations that do not require rising, such as cookies, only amaranth flour can be used.
Storage conditions
Store at room temperature protected from the sun. Average life of 10 months, as long as the storage conditions are respected.
