Description

Medical device indicated to help avoid and treat non-specific vaginal dryness and atrophic vaginitis. It helps maintain the natural defenses of the vagina and facilitates the restoration of vaginal flora.

Properties and benefits of Colpofix ova

The specific formula based on hyaluronic acid and lactic acid helps eliminate symptoms resulting from imbalance of vaginal hydration and/or pH.

• Hyaluronic acid has a hydrating and lubricating action against vaginal dryness, facilitating the restoration of the vaginal environment.
• Lactic acid, a component normally present in the vagina, favors an immediate correction of the pH and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate vulvo-vaginal ecosystem.
• The polycarbophil, once bound to the vaginal mucus, is able to constantly release H+ which contributes to lowering the pH of the vaginal environment.

How to apply Colpofix ova?

Introduce 1 ovule a day into the vagina, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 5-7 days following the end of the menstrual cycle or according to medical indication, for a maximum of 30 days.

Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. Do not use the product if the package is not intact. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components. Do not use the product in case of vaginal lesions or wounds. Do not use if you are menstruating. Do not exceed the recommended dose without medical advice. The use, especially if prolonged, can give rise to sensitization phenomena.

Storage conditions

Keep the package tightly closed in a dry place, between 5°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources. Do not use after the expiration date indicated.

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, polycarbophil, lactic acid, vitamin E, vitamin A, 18-beta glycyrrhetinic acid, tea tree oil, phosphatidylcholine, semi-synthetic triglycerides.
