Properties and benefits of Henna

It can be used alone to achieve a reddish tone or combined with Indigo to achieve a darker tone – close to brown. In addition to its ability to color hair, it also has many other beneficial properties for hair such as, stimulates hair growth, helps increase shine, prevents dandruff, improves the strength of hair follicles, etc.

What is it for?

How to apply Henna?

Henna for hair:

Take between 50 – 200g of henna, depending on the length of the hair.

In a large bowl, mix the juice of 1 squeezed lemon or 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with the henna powder and pour warm water little by little until the mixture has the consistency of yogurt.

You can let the mixture sit in a warm area for 10-20 minutes before using it.

Apply it to clean, dry and well-detangled hair, from the root to the tip of the hair, and wait between 60 and 90 minutes (depending on the desired color intensity) before washing with your regular shampoo.

Henna for tattoos:

Take 2 or 3 tablespoons of henna, depending on the extent of the tattoo design.

Sift the henna through a strainer to get rid of any pieces that may clog the fine tip of the cone from which the henna will come.

In a large bowl, mix the juice of 1 squeezed lemon or 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with the henna powder and pour in warm water little by little until the mixture has the consistency of yogurt.

Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm area for 24 hours before using.

Apply it to clean skin and let it dry.

If you're going for a light orange color, rinse the henna after 10 minutes.

For a more intense color, it is recommended to leave it overnight (between 10-11 hours) before washing your hands as usual.

Keep out of reach of children and avoid direct contact with eyes.

It is recommended to perform a skin test to ensure that there are no allergies to this product.

To avoid staining, wear gloves and immediately clean anything that accidentally gets stained with the henna mixture.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight.
