Description

Coconut oil is a vegetable oil for cosmetic use, both for skin and hair, providing intensive hydration, softness and care. Coconut Oil is very versatile. It is especially recommended for skin care after the sun, and as an intense body moisturizer for daily nutrition and hydration throughout the year.

Properties and benefits of Coconut oil

On the hair, Coconut Oil acts as a natural conditioner due to its high emollient and toning effect, being ideal for revitalizing rebellious, dry and damaged hair or with a tendency to frizz. The moisturizing properties of Coconut Oil are defined by its high content of natural ingredients: lauric and myristic acids. These natural ingredients are respectful of the most sensitive skin and scalp, making Coconut Oil suitable for daily use as an emollient and moisturizer. Coconut Oil is obtained from the pulp of the Cocos nucifera species through a process that includes deodorization. Thanks to its vegetable composition, it presents a high bioavailability of its components with the skin.

How to apply Coconut oil?

It is recommended to use how:

• Natural hair conditioner: acts as a natural hair conditioner, even for those with unruly, dry and/or frizz-prone hair. You can apply it as a conditioner, after washing your hair with your usual shampoo. It will leave it supple, soft, shiny and easy to comb.
• Repairing hair mask: apply it evenly to damp hair with a gentle massage and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing. If your hair is oily or you want to repair damaged ends, apply it only from the mid-lengths to the ends and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing.
• Beard or mustache care : acts as a balm to condition, moisturize and soften the beard and mustache. Add a small amount to hands and apply to beard or mustache.
• Massages and Body Moisturizer : For best results, apply to damp skin. It spreads easily and does not leave a greasy residue.
• Natural tanning : exfoliate the skin first and then apply it before sunbathing. Always combine it with your sunscreen since coconut oil does not contain a minimum protection factor.
• Natural aftersun : to nourish and soften your skin after sun exposure.
• Facial mask: apply to the face as a moisturizing, repairing and antioxidant facial mask. Apply evenly over the face, avoiding the areas around the eyes and mucous membranes. Let it act for about 20 minutes before removing it with water.

Precautions

Coconut oil is in a solid state with the cold. To blend, place the bottle under a stream of hot water. From 24ºC it remains in a liquid state.
