Lapacho, also known as Técoma, from its scientific name Técoma adenophylla, helps to preserve the vascular walls, contributes to the maintenance of normal pressure and promotes the elimination of toxins by supporting the kidney's emunctory functions. This is a cousin of Cinchona tree, whose famous bark allowed the discovery of Quinine and then Chloroquine.
