Description
Fennel, helps prevent the development of gingivitis, irritable colon and an upset stomach.
How to take Fennel?
It is recommended as an infusion to place the plant in a porcelain or thermo-resistant glass bowl or cup and pour boiling water (150-250 ml), cover and stir from time to time if desired, after 5-10 minutes strain. An infusion will be prepared for the tender parts of plants such as leaves, flowers, flowering tops, aerial parts, as well as for some properly crushed roots.
In decoction put the plant in water and bring to a boil for about 5-10 minutes, let it rest until it cools a little and strain. A decoction is prepared for leathery plants or very hard plant parts such as roots, bark, stems and especially for those that contain tannins.
