Aloe vera

Description

It is a viscous, yellowish-white liquid. Filtering it, the juice is obtained without parenchyma. A by-product of the juice is the acíbar, obtained after the concentration of the juice. It is a dark and bitter mass.

Properties and benefits of Aloe vera

Aloe vera is a plant with fleshy and spiny leaves that grows in desert climates such as the southern United States and Mexico, there are two varieties, aloe barbadensis and aloe ferox. Two products are extracted from the leaves, aloe gel, juice obtained by squeezing the leaf.

The active principles are polysaccharides and anthraquinones (aloin, alanosides and aloe-emodol), to which it owes its properties. In low doses (1-2 tablespoons) aloe vera is stomachic and cholagogue, in medium doses (3-4 tablespoons) it is a laxative that acts on the large intestine. In high doses, aloe vera is a natural purgative. It has been attributed a multitude of almost miraculous cures for ulcers and irritable bowel, as it is also a good healing.

How to take Aloe vera?

It is recommended 20 ml a day, take 10 ml twice a day between meals.

Precautions

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or for a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of little kids.

Storage conditions

Keep in a cool and dry place. Once opened keep in the refrigerator.

Composition of Aloe vera

For 10 ml:
Water, aloe vera (1217 mg), 200: 1 aloe vera extract (44 mg) equivalent to 8.8 g of fresh leaf, acidifier: citric acid (E330), preservatives: potassium sorbate (E202), sodium benzoate (E211 ).
