Properties and benefits of magnesium citrate

Magnesium is a mineral critical for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission, and bone mineralization.* It is a necessary cofactor for some 300 enzymes.* Reactions catalyzed by these enzymes include fatty acid synthesis, protein synthesis, and glucose metabolism.* Magnesium status is also important for the regulation of calcium balance through its effects on the parathyroid gland.*

How to take magnesium citrate?

Take 2 tablets daily with food.

Precautions

Only for adults. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place.

Composition of magnesium citrate

For 2 tablets:

Magnesium (elemental) (from 2660 mg magnesium citrate) 400 mg

Other ingredients:

Hydroxypropylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetarian coating, stearic acid (vegetable source), croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients that contain these allergens.
