CalAsorb Lamberts Calcium Citrate provides calcium in the form of citrate which is considered to be one of the most easily absorbable compounds of calcium, due in part to its high solubility compared to other calcium compounds.

Calcium supplements provide a practical way to increase calcium intake and have been shown to help curb the inevitable loss of bone mass that occurs with aging. Calcium contributes to normal blood clotting, energy metabolism, and the process of normal cell division and differentiation. It also assists in the normal functioning of neurotransmission of digestive enzymes and muscles.
Calcium contributes to reducing bone demineralization in postmenopausal women. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures. This benefit is achieved with a daily dose of at least 1200 mg in women 50 years of age and older.
