The synthesis and release of N-acetyl-5 methoxytryptamine are stimulated by darkness and suppressed by natural or artificial light, thus helping to improve the sleep-wake cycle, regulate the circadian cycle and reduce the effects of jet-lag, contributing to improved sleep quality.
It also determines the pace of aging of the body; it is a powerful antioxidant, and the only one capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, being able to directly and effectively protect the brain from the action of free radicals; it strengthens and enhances the action of the immune system.
How to take Melatonin?
It is recommended to take 1 tablet a day before bed.
Precautions
It is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Not to be taken together with medication such as anticoagulants and benzodiazepines.
Composition of Melatonin
Melatonin, xylitol, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium salt of fatty acids and magnesium stearate.
