Properties and benefits of Liquid Melatonin
It is a food supplement based on melatonin. New presentation of easy administration, easy dosage and fast absorption. Melatonin is a hormone naturally synthesized by our body from tryptophan and serotonin, the synthesis of which decreases with age.
Its release follows a circadian rhythm (increases with darkness and decreases with light). The beneficial effect is obtained with an intake of 1 mg of melatonin shortly before going to sleep.
Melatonin helps to alleviate the subjective sensation of jet lag and decrease the time needed to fall asleep.
How to take Liquid Melatonin?
It is recommended to take before or at bedtime. 0.12 mg melatonin / drop.
Precautions
It should not be administered to children although use cases have been described in attention deficits and in children with autism and mental retardation. In the absence of data on its use during pregnancy and lactation, it is recommended to avoid its use during these stages. Do not drive or operate machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. It is recommended not to use melatonin if you are being treated with immunosuppressants.
