Description
Lamberts L-Phenylalanine comes naturally and freely to ensure optimal absorption.
Properties and benefits of L-Phenylalanine
Amino acids are used by the body to build proteins.
Proteins are essential for the formation of cells, being also linked to the biochemical structure of hormones, enzymes, neurotransmitters and antibodies.
Amino acids are classified as essential or nonessential.
Essential amino acids cannot be synthesized in the body and must be obtained through the diet, while non-essential amino acids, even though they are extremely important for health, can be synthesized in the body and, therefore, are not classified as “essential” .
Lamberts amino acids are presented in "free form", that is, they are ready to be absorbed and used by the body, (they do not need to be digested).
It is an essential amino acid so it cannot be synthesized by the body, and must be obtained from food.
In the body, phenylalanine is converted to another amino acid, tyrosine, which is used in turn to produce neurotransmitters called catecholamines, which include epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
Phenylalanine comes in two forms: L-Phenylalanine, which is a natural amino acid present in proteins, and D-Phenylalanine, which can be produced in the laboratory, but is not necessary as a nutrient for the body.
