Description
Lamberts L-Arginine is a pure amino acid in free form that is ready to be absorbed by the body without needing to be broken down by digestive enzymes. Each tablet provides a total of 1000mg of L-Arginine HCL. This product is manufactured in the UK under strict GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
Properties and benefits of L-Arginine HCL
Arginine is considered a non-essential amino acid, although it is "essential under certain conditions" in which the body would not be able to synthesize it in sufficient quantity, such as occurs in stages of rapid growth, trauma and other physical stresses. For this reason, research has been conducted on the use of arginine supplementation. We find it in foods such as dairy products, meat, poultry, fish and nuts, but in fruits and vegetables it is present in generally low amounts. The body uses arginine to synthesize nitric oxide (NO), a substance that relaxes blood vessels. Arginine participates in the bodily elimination of ammonia, a waste product of nitrogen metabolism.
How to take L-Arginine HCL?
It is preferable to take amino acids with fruit juice or water, rather than with milk. Amino acids are better assimilated if taken ½ hour before any meal or before bed.
