Typical tree of the Canary Islands, very adapted to the climate of the Islands. With leathery and succulent leaves, it has persistent and robust foliage.
The Canary Islands Dragon tree requires direct exposure to the sun. It is a plant that supports drought well. It is advisable to avoid excessive irrigation.
The transplant is carried out in spring when the plant measures between 5 and 8 cm. It can be planted in 100 liter pots.
The Canary Island Dragon tree blooms in spring-summer. The flowers are small (2 cm in diameter), white and grouped in highly branched clusters that protrude from the leaves.
Soak the seeds for a couple of days before sowing.
