Onion is a very old food with many nutritional and medicinal properties: it is rich in minerals and trace elements (calcium, magnesium, chlorine, cobalt, copper, iron, phosphorus, iodine, nickel, potassium, silicon, zinc, sulfur and bromine) and also in vitamins (A, B, C and E). It is absolutely essential in all the gastronomies of the world. It is recommended to work the soil well in its first 20 centimeters so that it is loose and the bulb thickens easily.
