Description

Bee's Wrap Bee's Wrap 33x35 cm large beeswax wrap is the sustainable and toxic-free alternative to replace plastic film and aluminum foil. Due to its size, it is very useful to cover half a watermelon, half cabbage, half a small melon, or a piece of pineapple, small fruits such as a handful of strawberries or cherries, a bunch of grapes, containers and plates with food, biscuits , cheese and medium loaves of bread.

Indication

Made with totally natural ingredients that allow perspiration:

  • Beeswax from sustainably and responsibly managed farms. Bee's wrap cares for and protects bees and their ecosystem, promoting small hives, in ecological zones and respecting the natural cycle of bees and their honeycombs.
  • Printed organic cotton, certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard.
  • Certified organic jojoba oil.
  • Natural resin, from the Canarium Strictum tree (Indonesian tree of the copal family).
  • Reusable, recyclable, compostable packaging from recycled paper. In the packaging window through which Bee's Wrap is seen, the transparent material is biodegradable cellulose polymer.

Jojoba oil and beeswax have antiseptic and conservative properties, which allow food to be kept fresh and in perfect condition.

Intake mode

It softens with the heat of the hands and adapts to the shape of the food or the container. Once placed, it cools down again in a few seconds, keeping the shape that we have given it. If we want to use it again, it can be washed with cold water and a mild soap, left to dry in the air and stored in a dry place and away from heat sources. If properly cared for, we can use it regularly for about a year.

The first times we use it we will notice a smell of beeswax that will have different tones depending on the flowers in which the bees have collected the pollen. This smell will decrease as we use it. It is recommended not to use it to store meat or fish.

The wrappers are suitable for freezing food.
