Optimized Engine: The Vitamix Ascent 3500i engine is rated at 2.2 hp and up to 1400W. The entire Ascent range from Vitamix emits less start-up sound, being Vitamix's quietest mixers today (this is a small difference, but they actually make a little less noise than other mixers of the same size).

Automated Programs: This new model includes 5 automated programs (compared to the last superior model, Vitamix PRO750, the difference is the new sauces and spreads program, which replaces the previous puree program). The programs are:

Hot soups: creams and soups at 80-85ºC in 5:45 minutes.

Sauces and Spreads: Make an avocado pesto or cream in 60 seconds.

No Dry Food Pitcher Needed - The new Vitamix Ascent series doesn't need a separate pitcher to process dry foods like previous models (not a must, but there was the option). With Vitamix Ascent you can use any of the glasses or jug for all types of food.

SELF-DETECT technology is a new and exclusive wireless connectivity system that detects the size of the crushing jugs and cups and, thanks to this, automatically adjusts the settings of the chosen program and duration. This optimizes the operation of the machine, crushing in each case exactly what is necessary to obtain the perfect result.

INTERLOCK technology: security system that prevents the machine from starting if the jug, the glass or the lid are not correctly placed. The lid also has a new, totally secure closure system, which emits a "click" once it is fitted correctly. In addition, the blender does not work if a jug or glass is not placed on the base and if the lid is not properly seated (it shows a prohibition symbol on the display).

Programmable digital timer: if we use the manual control of the mixer instead of the programs, with the timer we can predefine the grinding time so that the mixer stops by itself. This is not a timer to delay the start of operation, but rather determines the duration of operation. Both in the use of programs and in manual use, the control panel shows the countdown to know the time remaining until it stops. It helps to always achieve the perfect texture, according to the preferences of each one.

Touch interface: allows a simple and intuitive use through its digital control panel. It shows a clean design and makes cleaning easy. The Vitamix Ascent 3500i touch screen has on / off control, automated programs, and pulse control. It also has a variable speed control button (1-10). If the control panel is not used for 60 seconds, the screen dims and turns off, going into sleep mode. If the panel is touched, it is activated again. The display shows the speeds of the programs or manual selector, as well as the remaining operating time.

Pitcher: 2-liter capacity and low profile, so it fits well under kitchen cabinets and is easier to handle and clean. With an easy and non-drip pouring system.

New completely transparent lid: for full visibility of the shredding process. With food grade silicone ring to seal the lid closure on the jar.
