Description

Cocoa beans (Pepas de Cacao) from El Oro de los Andes is an aromatic crop native to Peru of Amazonian origin and brought to the coast by pre-Inca cultures.

Indication

It is characterized and differentiates itself from the rest of cocoa by its white almonds, which undergo a selective fermentation process in wooden crates and slow drying in the shade, resulting in an exquisite dry grain.

Due to its pleasant aroma and sweetness, it is classified as a special cocoa with a fine aroma, in contrast to other cocoas in which the bitter taste predominates.
