Description
Vitalosmose's Xylitol is a sugar substitute extracted from birch, present in a form similar to that of traditional powdered sugar. This product has the same sweetening power as sucrose, a sweet flavor identical to that of sucrose, without bitterness or aftertaste, and has a taste and texture which remain stable during cooking. Xylitol can be used for pastry, jams or compotes, etc...
Indication
Xylitol has a glycemic index of approximately 8.5 (that of sucrose is 92) and its metabolism in the body is independent of insulin. It can therefore be consumed by diabetics.
By combining with calcium and phosphate ions, Xylitol would even have the particularity of reinforcing these trace elements in their action against the demineralization of teeth.
Many studies report rapid relief in children from problems associated with ear canal infection, due to the ability of Xylitol to inhibit bacterial proliferation throughout the ENT sphere.
An inhibitor of bacterial proliferation; bacteria take up Xylitol but are unable to metabolize it. It will therefore accumulate, preventing the bacteria from absorbing other sugars and from proliferating.
Unlike conventional sugars, Xylitol is recognized for its anti-acidifying power for the body.

It is advisable to chew for a long time 2 to 4 times a day 1/2 teaspoon of Xylitol.
