Superfood goji berries
Description
Known as the anti-aging fruit, Goji berries are an excellent source of antioxidants, vitamins A and C, amino acids, potassium, iron, zinc and much more.
Indication
Goji berries ( Lycium barbarum L.) grow in the vast area of Himalaya Mountains and are well known for the benefits they provide to oriental medicine. They are usually consumed raw, but we can also infuse them, add them in soups or have their extract. It is one of the most commonly used food to fight against aging through traditional Chinese medicine during the past millenniums. They have a high concentration of antioxidants, that resist the harmful side effects produced by the free radicals, such as cellular oxidation or premature aging.
It contains a small amount of linoleic acid, which helps people with fat loss. Due to its high concentration of vitamin A and B, as well as beta carotene, it is considered an ideal product to complement the diet. Also, it improves our immune system and protects us from free radical damages.
Intake mode
It is recommended to take 25 g a day. It can be taken alone or mixed with yogurts, cereals, infusions, cookies, etc.
Precautions
May contain traces of milk, soy, gluten, egg, fish, nuts and peanuts. It contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool dry place.
