Description

Drink Aid 2 (Lemon Flavor) by Just Aid is an isotopic energy replacement drink with electrolytes to be used during and after exercise, which helps prevent dehydration and elevation of body temperature, also helping to maintain glycogen levels.

Indication

Replacement drinks such as Drink 2 provide the following advantages: on the one hand, they provide an energy substrate to keep blood glucose levels constant and, on the other, thanks to the presence of carbohydrates, they favor greater water absorption; In addition, the presence of electrolytes such as sodium increases water retention, replenishing the ionic imbalance together with others. To achieve the latter, the electrolytes in the drink must be in balance with those in the plasma, that is, be isotonic and hypotonic.

Drink Aid 2 is ideal for all types of professional or amateur athletes who practice endurance or long-term sports such as aerobics, team sports, athletes, cyclists, tennis players, etc.

Intake mode

It is recommended to take during exercise (every 15 min.) and after exercise (every 15-20 min.) up to 2 hours later for a rapid recovery of muscle glycogen. If you want to use it before exercise, you should start taking it 10 minutes before starting it, otherwise the typical hypoglycemia could occur in some athletes as a result of the rapid insulin response.

It is advisable to drink little but often and always before feeling thirsty, which is usually a symptom of dehydration. Take the drink slightly cold in very hot environments.
