Very good for those of us who cannot take garlic or onion due to intolerance. Now that it comes in powder form it is very easy to use and it tastes great.

It is the first time that I buy this product and I am really enjoying it. I use it to prepare recipes from Ayurvedic cuisine and if you put little it gives a flavor similar to onion and garlic, I recommend it for those people who do not like onion and / or garlic, or who follow a diet low in FODMAPs because substitutes onion and garlic giving a very good flavor

Description
Asafoetida from Ayurveda is a food seasoning widely used in oriental cuisine.
Indication
"Astanga Hridaya", one of the oldest Ayurvedic texts, documents its wide range of beneficial properties. It has a strong characteristic odor and should therefore be used very sparingly (less than a pinch). Asafoetida is the perfect alternative to onions and garlic, which are not used in Ayurvedic cuisine. Bean, curry, and dal dishes are often savored with asafoetida due to its much-appreciated Vata balancing properties.
Intake mode
It is used as a typical seasoning in Middle Eastern cuisine.
Ingredients
Asafoetida, gum arabic, rice flour (gluten free).
