Description
Wild rice from Fructivia is native to the great Canadian lakes, wild rice combines a unique flavor with exceptional nutritional qualities.
Indication
Its long and black grains, including crisp and have a nutty flavor. Wild rice contains more protein than rice. It is an aquatic grass (not to be confused with rice)
Intake mode
It is recommended to rinse the rice in cold water. Bring to a boil in 4 volumes of salted water for one volume of rice. Cover and cook over low heat for 40 minutes until the water is completely absorbed and the beans open. Serve hot as an accompaniment or cold as a salad.
