Nice surprise with this very tasty and incredibly fibrous rice. The cooking time is long, around 50 minutes, but the result is perfect. Currently used in salad, this rice delighted the whole family. I'm going to try it hot this week. And what's more, no constipation.

Description
Organic black rice has a nutty smell, wrinkled texture and when cooked it takes on a purple hue. It is very nutritious, standing out for being rice with fewer calories per serving and a higher amount of fiber and protein.
Indication
It is rich in beta-carotene, vitamins B1 and B2, phosphorus, potassium, iron and calcium. It helps regulate lipoprotein levels and is a good liver protector.
Intake mode
It is recommended to rinse the organic black rice two or three times. Put it in a bowl and run it through cold water. Rub it with your hands. Repeat the process two or three times. Let it sit overnight and then drain it, thus reducing the cooking time. Doing so removes surface starches and prevents clumping. Put it in a pot and cover it with water, let it cook over medium heat for 30-35 minutes. Ideal for diets and cold dishes sautéed with your favorite vegetables.
