Description
Black quinoa is a novel and very tasty variety of quinoa. Its black color is due to the presence of anthocyanins, it preserves all the properties of natural quinoa.
Indication
Black Quinoa is highly recommended for healthy diets, as well as being nutritious and rich in protein. With a particular dark color that allows to create visually more attractive dishes and a more intense flavor than white grain, its texture is more compact and it has a more earthy and sweet flavor. It is ideal to accompany your dishes and as a base for croquettes and vegetable burgers.
Intake mode
It is recommended to prepare the quinoa, rinse the grains with the help of a strainer under the tap, to eliminate the bitter taste of the saponin it contains, then add two cups of water to one of quinoa in a saucepan or pot. Leave the pot over medium heat until the water begins to boil and once it has started, let it rest for about 15/20 minutes or until all the water is absorbed while stirring occasionally. Let stand for another 5 minutes, the grains are gently separated with a fork. Prepare tasty black quinoa dishes by adding it to salads, with vegetables, to give more flavor and color to all your dishes.
