My Cosmetik Vegetable Guar Gum is a gelling agent and a thickener for aqueous phases. Of natural origin, it makes it possible to produce transparent and smooth aqueous gels approved by Ecocert.
Properties and benefits of Vegetable Guar Gum
This product is indicated to be used to stabilize emulsions: the introduction of a gelling agent such as guar gum (or xanthan gum) in the aqueous phase helps to stabilize the emulsions and provides a very pleasant sliding effect during application. You can also use it in the preparation of tensor gels, slimming gels, gel masks, toothpastes in gels, in the manufacture of gel for the eye area, for addition in creams or milks to stabilize and thicken them and it is also possible to use it in cooking to thicken sauces.
How to apply Vegetable Guar Gum?
It is advisable to disperse in the aqueous phase of your preparation. Dosage: From 1 to 4% of your preparation, depending on the desired rendering.
For a better dissolution in the aqueous phases you can slightly heat your mixture.
Close the sachet well after use.
Precautions
To avoid the formation of lumps in your preparations, disperse the guar gum in rain in your aqueous phase while stirring, then leave to act for about 10 min.
