Propos Nature's Virgin Vegetable Oil - Sweet Almond is a 100% pure and natural virgin oil obtained by cold pressing almonds from Prunus Dulcis. The almond tree belongs to the Rosaceae family. Its fruit contains one to two almonds with an oil content of between 50 and 65%. Only the Sweet Almond is edible, the bitter variety being toxic. Native to Asia, Almond has been present throughout the Mediterranean region since the Middle Ages.
